Inconel Manifold Valves Applications & Industries

Inconel manifold valves are specified wherever a standard carbon steel or stainless steel manifold would corrode, stress-crack or lose pressure integrity. The Ni-Cr-Mo alloy family retains full mechanical strength across the cryogenic-to-high-temperature range and resists virtually every corrosive process medium. Grade-specific pages: Inconel 600 | Inconel 625 | Inconel 601. Related instrumentation: Inconel needle valves | Inconel ball valves | Inconel tube fittings.

DP Transmitter Manifold Valve Service

The most common Inconel manifold valve application is differential pressure (DP) transmitter isolation in corrosive service. A 5-way manifold valve replaces separate isolate, equalize and vent valves with a single compact block, reducing leak points by 60-70% and simplifying maintenance. Direct-mount units bolt directly to the ANSI/IEC flange of Rosemount 3051, Yokogawa EJA, ABB 266 and equivalent transmitters. Also see Inconel needle valves and Inconel ball valves for complementary instrumentation service.

Kalpataru Competitive Gaps Exploited

  1. NACE MR0175 compliance – Neither TU-LOK nor RFIT mentions NACE certification for manifold valves. Sour-gas buyers (Middle East, US shale, offshore) specifically require this.
  2. EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Reports – Competitors do not advertise 3.1 MTRs; EPC contractors and NOCs routinely demand them.
  3. API 598 test certification – Competitors cite BS EN 12266-1 only; API-specified projects require API 598.
  4. Positive Material Identification (PMI) – No competitor mentions PMI on manifold valves; required for offshore and nuclear audits.
  5. Cryogenic service – Neither competitor states a cryogenic-rated manifold valve; Kalpataru offers -196 C rated versions.
  6. Grade-specific landing pages – Enables long-tail SEO per grade that competitors do not capture.
  7. Higher pressure options – Above 15,000 PSI available on request for wellhead and BOP service.

FAQs - Alloy 20 Ball Valves

Standard metal-to-metal sealed bodies are rated to 6,000 psig (414 bar) at 100 F (38 C). High-pressure variants in forged Inconel 625 or 718 are available to 10,000 PSI and 15,000 PSI. Ratings de-rate at elevated temperature per ASME B16.34. Contact us for a specific temperature de-rating table or a high-pressure quotation.

All three standard configurations are available: 2-way (isolation only), 3-way (isolation + equalize/vent for single-variable DP), and 5-way (full block-equalize-vent cycle for DP transmitters). Body types include R-type (rectangular), T-type and H-type. Both direct-mount (bolts to transmitter flange) and remote-mount (connected via impulse tubing) variants are available.

Yes. Kalpataru Inconel manifold valves in grades 600, 625, 718 and Incoloy 825 are manufactured and tested in compliance with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour gas (H2S) service. Hardness compliance certificates are available. This is a key differentiator versus most Indian competitors who do not state NACE compliance for manifold valves.

Every order includes: EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Report, PMI (XRF/OES) report, hydrostatic shell test certificate (per BS EN 12266-1 and API 598), pneumatic seat test certificate, and helium leak test certificate at 1 x 10^-4 ml/s. NDE reports (RT, PT, UT) and third-party inspection (BV, SGS, TUV) are available on request.

Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) is the preferred grade for offshore and seawater service. Its molybdenum (8-10%) and niobium (3.15-4.15%) additions provide a PREN above 50, making it virtually immune to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater. It also meets NACE MR0175 for sour gas environments common in offshore oil and gas. Browse our Inconel 625 manifold valves and Inconel 625 tube fittings for complete offshore instrumentation packages.

Yes. Inconel 625 and 600 retain full ductility and impact resistance down to -196 C (-321 F) and are approved for cryogenic service. Cryogenic manifold valves feature extended bonnets to keep the packing outside the cold zone and are supplied with Charpy V-notch impact test certificates at -196 C per ASME B31.3 Appendix F.
