Stainless Steel 904L is a super austenitic stainless steel known for its high corrosion resistance and excellent durability in aggressive environments. It contains high levels of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper, which provide strong resistance to acids, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Both grades have good corrosion resistance, but 904L generally offers better performance than 316L in highly corrosive environments.
