Copper nickel compression fittings supplied by Kalpaturu Piping Solution are designed to be reliable and work under tough conditions at sea and in industries. The fittings are very resistant to stress corrosion cracking, especially in the saltwater environment. Their high resistance to corrosion caused by chloride, pitting and crevice attack makes them an excellent choice when long-term service is required in highly aggressive situations. Also, MIL-T-16420K compression tube fittings are characterised by good weldability and easy fabrication, giving them flexibility of installation.
The 90/10 copper nickel instrumentation fittings are made of 10 per cent nickel and 90 per cent copper alloy, which is highly ductile, tough and naturally resistant to biofouling. These traits render them the best in instrumentation systems that require the same performance. Also, Cu Ni 90/10 tube fittings do not lose their mechanical strength at cryogenic temperatures to provide a good working range. The 90/10 cupro nickel ferrule fittings have a reliable performance compared to 70/30 fittings at a lower cost.
To use them in applications with the need of providing secure tube connection, Copper Nickel Alloy 706 double ferrule fittings have a dual-ferrule design; one ferrule makes sure that the shapes are leak tight, and the other firmly clamps the tube. The Cu Ni 70/30 bulkhead unions can be implemented in increased seawater flow velocities, and the 70/30 male elbows are effective in changing the direction of flow. Copper Nickel Alloy 715 tube-to-union fittings offer fast, robust and vibration-free connections in complicated pipes.
