Incoloy 825 Flanges Manufacturer & Supplier in India
Incoloy 825 flanges are made of a nickel iron chromium alloy enriched with molybdenum, copper, and titanium, giving this material exceptional resistance to corrosive environments. These flanges are able to withstand various hostile industrial environments where resistance to oxidation, reducing acids and chloride induced corrosion is crucial. Flanges made from this alloy are frequently referred to as UNS N08825 flanges (Werkstoff Nr. It complies with ASTM designation ASTM C1159 (2.4858) and is suitable for harsh chemical, marine applications and piping systems.
ASTM B564 Incoloy 825 flanges come in a range of different styles to fit various piping systems such as Incoloy 825 weld neck flanges, Incoloy 825 slip on flanges, Incoloy 825 blind flanges, Incoloy 825 socket weld flanges, Incoloy 825 threaded flanges, and lap joint flanges. These flanges are manufactured per ASME B16.5, ANSI, DIN & EN standards for secure and leak free connections for high pressure and high temperature systems. The “balanced” chemistry of Alloy 825 flanges makes them highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking and will provide service in chemical processing plants, seawater and acid production systems.
Kalpataru Piping Solution is one of the trusted manufacturers and Incoloy 825 flange suppliers in India who has been serving since 15 years and more in this industry and supply high quality flanges from 1/2” to 48”. Our ASTM B564 UNS N08825 flanges are produced from high quality raw materials and are inspected and tested to high quality standards such as mill test certificate and third party inspection. Types of Incoloy 825 Flanges Available
Incoloy Alloy 825 Flanges are available in the following types (existing product photography to be retained for each):
- Weld Neck Flanges: Designed for high pressure applications with a long tapered hub that provides reinforcement and smooth flow transition. Ideal for critical services in chemical plants and refineries.
- Slip On Flanges: Cost effective option that slides over the pipe end before welding. Suitable for low pressure applications and systems requiring easy assembly.
- Blind Flanges: Used to close off pipe ends, valves, or pressure vessel openings. Essential for system testing, inspection access, and future expansion points.
- Socket Weld Flanges: Provide smooth bore and high structural strength for small diameter, high pressure piping systems. Common in hydraulic and instrumentation lines.
- Threaded Flanges: Feature internal threads for pipe connection without welding. Used in low pressure applications or where welding is restricted.
- Lap Joint Flanges: Used with stub ends for systems requiring frequent dismantling or where flange rotation is needed for bolt hole alignment.
- Orifice Flanges: Specialised flanges with pressure taps for flow measurement using orifice plates. Critical for process control and monitoring applications.

FAQ’s About Incoloy 825 Flanges
INCOLOY 825 is a nickel iron chromium alloy (UNS N08825) with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. It is designed for excellent resistance to both oxidising and reducing acids, making it widely used in chemical processing and marine applications.
Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) has a lower nickel base (38 to 46 percent) with iron as the balance element, while Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) has a higher nickel base (58 percent minimum) and is strengthened by niobium and tantalum. Inconel 625 offers higher mechanical strength and better performance at elevated temperatures above 540 degrees C, while Incoloy 825 is cost-effective for acid service and seawater applications up to 540 degrees C where the extreme mechanical demands of 625 are not required.
INCOLOY 825 offers superior resistance to acidic and corrosive environments due to its added molybdenum and copper, while INCOLOY 800 is designed mainly for high temperature stability and oxidation resistance above 540 degrees C.
INCOLOY 825 can typically withstand temperatures up to 540 degrees C (1000 degrees F) while maintaining mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
INCOLOY 825 is heat treated through stabilising annealing, where the alloy is heated and rapidly cooled to enhance corrosion resistance, stabilise its microstructure, and improve overall performance.
Standard supply includes EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates from a NABL approved laboratory. EN 10204 3.2 witnessed inspection is available on request via TUV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyds, SGS, or DNV.
